Time To Destory That Credit Card!
Break the credit card cycle
Seriously, you addict. Put the damn thing down. How badly do you really need that credit card in your hand at all times. You can get by without charging every little thing, trust me. Many people do it every day. You are just a weak, weak human being when it comes to willpower (and mental acuity). Maybe you just do not understand the full scope of what this financial resources can do to you if you leave it to its own devices and do not put it in its place.
- Interest rates of 18 percent or more a year are high.
- That's $180 per $1,000 in debt annually just added on.
- Or $360 per $2,000 in debt annually, just added on!
- Or... my God... $540 per $3,000 in annual debt. Ugh!
Okay you get the point. We hope. If not, you are pretty dense. Do not be Destroyed by Debt. Do it to the credit card. Put it out of its misery and walk away a bigger man... one who can resist the urge to shop.
Problems your credit card will lead to
Debt practically goes hand in hand with any credit card balance that you do not pay on time and in full. The great thing about it, from the perspective of the credit card company, is how easy they make it to select these undesirable options. They just leap off the page at you honestly. Pay only $20 this month, or don't pay anything this month or the next three months. These are the kind of things that cards yell at you (subconsciously, of course -- if you are hearing voices from your credit card, you have bigger problems than late fees and absurdly high rates). Do not let them win. Cut the damn card up now. Destroy the thing. You will be thankful.
If you have any self-respect, you will do as we say. Don't be that guy who is so credit card-obsessed that he forgets what is really important in life. You know, things like basketball and strip clubs. Cheap ones, of course -- don't even think about using your card.
